The bike ride

This last Saturday we knew that it would be one of the last ones of the summer where Reuben wouldn't have to wear a sling.  So we made it special and got our bikes ready for a bike ride.  We bought a component from REI on our date the previous week.  Getting the bikes ready took time all throughout the day.  Then we had to get the trailers ready.  Getting the kids ready took another long time.  Just as we were about to go, our next door neighbor decided to introduce themselves for the first time eve (we have lived her for almost a year and were anxious to meet them too- just weird timing.) 

Finally we were off!!  We went to the park a couple blocks away.  We took these pictures.  Then we came back.  Reuben had to leave.  But we did it!  Our lovely 5 minute ride.
