It's the day our praying mantis egg sacs finally hatched! Out came 100 - 200 cute litte praying mantids!

Ariana poses next to the 10 lb bag of dry pinto beans that he got from the food storage when I told him that the bugs were hungry. Of course bugs would eat dry beans. Why not? (Because they are fierce carnivores, that's why. Please eat all the bugs eating my garden!)
