So Ariana breastfed until she was 20 months old. I was a little embarrassed to say it because for some reason it's super good and awesome to do it until they are a year old and kinda weird and strange anytime after that.
Really, it's so easy when they are older and only do it once or twice a day. Plus, I couldn't ween her this summer because we went out of town too much and had too many trips. This fall she started her Chinese daycare which was a huge stressor for both of us so it was up until three weeks ago (it's taken a while to get this post down) before she finally stopped. She hasn't asked for it for 3 days now and things are good.
My little girl has grown up. That's a good thing because although being pregnant and breastfeeding at the same time is fun on fast Sundays and anytime you want a reason for thirds and fourths, it's probably better not to do them both at the same time for too long.
