Ariana recently helped me make her breakfast. She loves cooking with mom and although mom doesn't really love cooking with her, I feel like she has fun and she might just eat a bit more if she made it herself. So far she does eat more of her own creations, but I usually spend quite a bit of extra time cleaning up too!
Here is her making us some scrambled eggs. She is quite a little swiper (borrowing from Dora the explorer) and always manages to grab an egg and break it before I can stop her) She broke those three eggs and actually got them on the frying pan without any egg shells (with a bit of help). She also added the milk to our scrambled eggs. Can you tell? It was a bit like custard or soupy eggs but still good!
The next week she helped me make cookies and measured out the baking soda (which is one of the most important ingredients to measure correctly!) and although it did have a bit more of that soda taste throughout the cookies- they actually turned out alright. It looks like we have a minature Betty Crocker on our hands!
